SRK is a charmer: Sanaa Khan

Model-turned-actress Sanaa Khan has had a lot on her plate recently.

She has shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, and cricketers M.S. Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh, has endorsed 13-odd brands including Play Station and watches and forayed into both Tollywood and Kollywood.

About working with celebrities, she says, "Shah Rukh Khan is a charmer and also down-to-earth, while Akshay Kumar is a complete prankster, Dhoni is quite reserved and Yuvraj was at his flamboyant best, so I cherished every moment." But her dream for a smooth transition between modelling and acting was shattered as her two Telugu films, Kathi and Gaganam, sank at the box office. She is now banking on the entertainer, Mr Nokia, opposite Manoj Manchu.

Sanaa has also made her mark in Kollywood with big films like Silambattam and Payyanam. On working and being linked to Simbu, the actress says, "Rather than denying or accepting allegations of a fling, I'll leave it to the imagination of viewers. Fighting the media is a futile effort." She has also acted in the Kannada film, Kool, with Ganesh and is set to work with Jr. NTR. "It will be a great opportunity but nothing is finalised yet," she says.

Unlike many of her contemporaries, she has strict rules about kissing and wearing a bikini on-screen. "I am game for glam-centric roles but I do draw a line. Unless the director convinces me otherwise I will not indulge in skin show and kissing," she explains. Currently, she is concentrating on honing her acting prowess and also mastering Telugu. "Acting is more challenging than modelling; you need to hold the audiences' interest longer. I would like to be remembered as a performer rather than a glam doll," she says. She also likes being in Hyderabad. "The city has its share of swanky pubs and I have been to a few places. It is a rare blend of tradition and modern and I adore the specialty cuisines you get," she concludes.

Salman Khan helps South debutant to lose weight

There is another addition to the innumerable amount of people, who hold actor Salman Khan in high regard for his generosity. Sabarish, son of the famous stunt choreographer FEFSI Vijayan, is thankful to Salman for helping him reduce close to 25 Kilos of weight!

Sabarish is making his debut with the Tamil film ‘Markandeyan’ which also stars Thai actress Pinky as the leading lady. The young actor has expressed his gratitude towards Salman in no uncertain terms by giving him all the credit of his weight loss. Sabarish has stated that when he expressed the desire to become an actor, Vijayan took him to his friend Salman. Vijayan thought Salman to be the ideal person to guide his son in becoming fit. Salman was then busy shooting the final sequences of ‘Wanted’ in Chennai’; but nonetheless trained Sabarish and advised him on nutrition. As a result, Sabarish lost 25 Kilos in 8 months and is now all set to make his debut in Tamil cinema.
Salman sure is a difficult person to fathom. While he takes pangas with the likes of Shahrukh Khan and Sanjay Dutt, he also tends to help a multitude of newcomers to enter the film industry.

Pics - Kareena Kapoor poses romantically with Shahrukh Khan

Kareena with SRK

Kareena Kapoor is celebrating love with her recent photoshoot for Filmfare. And guess who gets into the romantic scene with her? It was her favourite Ra.One co-star Shahrukh Khan, who visited the sets to say Hello to her and the entire team.

Though Kareena is singing I Love You with Salman Khan in Bodyguard, she is shooting with hearts and balloons with Shahrukh Khan. Lucky girl, all her upcoming films are with the Khans. If Bodyguard is lined up for Eid release, in October she has Ra.One; and not to forget the action spy thriller Agent Vinod with beau Saif Ali Khan.

In the photograph you can see Shahrukh’s lean look while Katrina is all smiles, and don’t miss her famous pout. Filmfare editor Jitesh Pillai tweets, “Look who's in the house. Fabulous @iamsrk drops in to say hello to gorgeous kareena.”

He also writes, “Eat your hearts out, @iamsrk, even gave bebo and me a sneak peek of the Akon songs wanna be my chammak challo. Faaab:)"

Well, Kareena seriously looks a ravishing Chammak Challo in these simple pics. Have a look:

Why Chunky ditched SRK?

Wondering why Chunky ditched Shahrukh for IIFA party? Here are some secrets ready to unfold...

CHUNKY PANDEY and SHAHRUKH KHAN

CHUNKY PANDEY and SHAHRUKH KHAN

Well! While gossip is making rounds around the media as to why would such a great friend of SRK would ditch him for Salman's party, Chunky Pandey has his own story to tell. Seems like the actor was not invited for King Khan's bash after the awards in spite of his and wife Bhawna's cordial relations with Gauri Khan!

CHECK OUT: Shahrukh takes on Shahrukh

Disappointed Chunky was instead invited by Sohail Khan for Salman's party at the 11th hour. Filled with jot, the actor turned up at Salman's bash while ignoring to comment or discuss his absence from that of SRK.

Guess lot's been cooking between SRK and his friends!

Another Snub for SRK

No matter how hard SRK might be trying to provoke Salman into breaking the cold war status quo between them, it seems Sallu has decided not to warm to any such overtures.

SALMAN KHAN and SHAHRUKH KHAN

SALMAN KHAN and SHAHRUKH KHAN

SRK, who recently made fun of Salman's DABANGG at a popular awards night, had raised speculations that Salman might react to it. When a scribe lately asked Salman about it, the actor who had come to promote his film BODYGUARD chose to ignore the question and handed the mike to his co-star Kareena saying, 'Kareena is working a lot with Shahrukh these days, she might be able to answer it better'.

Not only that, when someone tried to ask Kareena about her film with SRK-RA.ONE, Salman stepped and told the scribes that such questions can't be asked on his films platform.

With SRK's peace breaking effort meeting yet another snub, looks like Salman has no plans to end the cold war anytime soon.

Shahrukh Khan recently returned from a long and much deserved family holiday. Though, he enjoyed himself spending quality time with his kids and wife Gauri, Shahrukh’s firest love remains filming. Just a day after landing in Mumbai, SRK was back on the final schedule of Ra.One.

Shahrukh Khan plays a superhero in this magnum opus that is touted to be the most expensive film ever made in India. Shahrukh had to recently shoot a bike chase in Mumbai and also some other scenes for his film. Cameos of Priyanka Chopra and Sajnay Dutt that were added at the last moment also had to be shot.

Shahrukh recently said that shooting films is easy because this is what he does best and loves his job.

Imran copies Aamir, Salman, SRK’s dance moves

The latest buzz doing the rounds in Tinselville is that Imran Khan has gone an extra mile to make his upcoming film, the romantic comedy 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ as exclusive as possible.

For the film’s title song, Imran has apparently tried to emulate the super Khans of Bollywood. In the song, Imran is in search of a bride and he imitates the dance steps of the three superstars Shahrukh, Aamir and Salman.

Title song ‘Matrimonial Ki Aankhen’ shot in just 3 days
The title song ‘Matrimonial Ki Aankhen’ from Yash Raj Films’ 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' has been composed by Sohail Sen and it will see Imran performing the dance moves of the three Khans’ from their popular film songs.

Apparently, Imran has copied the moves from Aamir’s ‘Ghulam’ and ‘Rang De Basanti’, Salman’s ‘Dabangg’ and SRK’s ‘Chhaiyan Chhaiyan’.

Interestingly, it’s learnt that the ‘Matrimonial Ki Aankhen’ song was apparently shot in Mumbai, New Delhi and Dehradun in just three days.

Speaking about Aamir’s song, Imran stated, “I saw Ghulam when I was 14. I remember the song more than the movie. It was one of those rare times when a hero did his own playback. Mamu did a spectacular job with the lip sync. RDB is another milestone, as for the first time, I felt a film was speaking for the ‘intelligent’ youth of our country.”

While talking about Salman’s dance style, the young actor said that the steps were easy to follow and the moves did make him connect with the actor.

Imran does his maamu’s steps first
In the title song of 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, Imran first does his uncle’s dance moves from ‘Ghulam’ and ‘Rang De Basanti’ and then follows it up with Salman’s famous ‘Dabangg’ steps.

And then finally, Imran does the train song from SRK's ‘Chaiya Chaiyaa’.

Speaking about SRK’s song, Imran stated, “Chaiyya Chaiyya… is an iconic song in terms of composition, choreography, the way it’s been filmed, sung (Sukhvinder Singh) and performed by Shah Rukh and Malaika (Arora Khan). Any Bollywood movie buff recalls it vividly.”

Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt fight Shahrukh Khan in Ra.One

We all know that Shahrukh Khan and director Anubhav Sinha have roped in actors Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt for a special appearance in Ra.One. However, nobody seemed to have any idea about the details of their cameo appearance. Naturally, the producer-director jodi wanted to preserve the surprise element.
Image: Ra.One
However, according to some sources, Priyanka and Sanjay will be playing the bad guys in the movie and will feature in a big fighting sequence with Shahrukh. The scene is being worked upon as one of the high points of the film. Interestingly, Priyanka will be playing the sidekick of Sanjay Dutt and the two will be shown mounting a massive attack on Shahrukh’s character ‘G.One’ with the help of their superhuman capabilities. In the movie each of these characters draws their energy from one or the other sources of nature.
Ever since the first promo of the movie was unveiled, excitement and anticipation about Ra.One has only increased. Audiences are already thrilled with the high tech special effects in the film and the release date of 26 October is eagerly awaited.

Shah Rukh Khan to ride Batman-like batpod in ‘Ra.One’!

Mumbai: If Superman can fly, Batman has the state of the art gadgets and Spiderman web-slings through air, can our desi super hero be left behind? News has it that SRK will soon be sporting a bike similar to Batman's batpod in desi superhero flick 'RA.One.'

Apparently, SRK has decided to go for batpod-like superbike in one of the high octane action sequences in 'RA.One,' which will be shot at Filmistan Studios, Goregaon.

The scene will have SRK riding the monster bike, which bears a striking resemblance to Batman`s batpod.

Talking to a daily, a source said, "SRK will be doing a rescue act in the scene, which also requires him to indulge in some real adrenaline pumping stunts."

It is believed that Shah Rukh Khan will do the stunt without a body double. "Shah Rukh is not particularly fond of bikes himself. In fact, every time director Anubhav Sinha suggested that he bought one, Khan just refused saying there is no use for a bike," added the source.

While SRK is busy holidaying in London with his family, director Anubhav Sinha is busy preparing the sets for the shoot. Anaita Shroff Adajania will be working on SRK's outfit for the special scene.

Is Wednesday the new Friday in Bollywood?

Friday fervour continues to rule Bollywood with it being the day of release for almost all Bolly flicks hitting theatres. But seems like Friday's status quo is all set to be challenged by Wednesday this year as two of the most awaited films are set to release on those days. For rival actors Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, Friday fever will hopefully make way for wonderful Wednesday as they each have a film that will hit theatres on the day. So, while Salman's 'Bodyguard' releases on August 31, Shah Rukh's 'Ra.One' will release on October 26 — both Wednesdays. Apparently film 'Bol' too is slated as a Eid release.

Trade analysts point out what's prompted the stars to advance their release dates from a Friday to Wednesday is the fact that the two Wednesdays co-incide with two festivals — Eid-ul-Fitr and Diwali. According to the previous track records, the festival days ensure maximum footfalls in a theatre thanks to the joyous and celebratory mood and filmmakers are keen to cash in on it by releasing the films on the same days. "It makes perfect sense to make the most of the longish weekend," they say unanimously.

But industry observers are also quick to point out that it's not a new trend at all. "Each year the most-anticipted films are released around the time to co-incide with the festival especially if it's a day or two prior to the weekend," they explain. "That way the films are sure of deriving the maximum benefit of the festive season coupled with what is assumed to be a fun and joyous weekend," says trade analyst Komal Nahta.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh adds, "There's no doubt that these festive days are big money spinners. These films releasing on Wednesday instead of the traditional Friday translate to more business as it equates to longish weekend movie-watching."

Incidentally, SRK's other big release 'Don 2' is set to hit the theatre on a Friday (December 23) and not Wednesday even though it's around Christmas. That's because 25th happens to fall on a Sunday. A leading distributor adds, "Salman is on an all-high, while it's a Rs 100 crore plus for SRK who also seems to be in top form this year. We have seen in the past how films have benefitted by mid-week releases during festive season. I think it's a very wise decision."

Two-much-too-soon for Shahrukh?

Buzz is building up for Shahrukh Khan this year. First he has 'Ra. One' arriving on Diwali and then he would be wrapping up 2011 with 'Don 2' hitting the screens on Christmas. Though typically Shahrukh starrers are spaced by at least a year, this is not really turning out to be the case this time around.

"When Shahrukh originally started work on 'Ra. One' and 'Don 2', the original idea was to keep the two films distanced by a good enough duration. 'My Name Is Khan' had arrived early last year and even if 'Ra. One' would have released this summer, one wouldn't have minded 'Don 2' to arrive this Christmas as this would have led to six months gap", says an industry insider.

However with 'Ra. One' seeing an extended schedule and the film still being shot, there was no other choice for Shahrukh but to grab Diwali slot. Meanwhile with Farhan Akhtar and Co. already closing on the festive occasion of Christmas.

"The fact is that his fans have indeed been spoilt with an offer of 'two-much-too-soon'", quips a prominent filmmaker.

Now whether Shahrukh's strategy of bringing two of his films so close to each other goes in his favour or not would be known in a few weeks from now once comparisons between 'Ra. One' and 'Don 2' further catch on more heat.

Photos: Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra Return from 'Don 2' Shoot in Berlin

They're back! Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra were spotted at Mumbai Airport Wednesday as they returned to the city after shooting Don 2 in Berlin, Germany. And of course we have the pics!

Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, and directed by Farhan Akhtar, Don 2 - The Chase Continues stars SRK as Don, Priyanka Chopra as Roma, Boman Irani as Vardhaan and Om Puri as Mallik. The movie is the sequel of the 2006 box-office hit Don: The Chase Begins Again, which in turn is a remake of the 1978 classic Don.

When Priyanka arrived on the set in October, she took to Twitter to share her thoughts and said, "Gloomy morning.cloudY outside But mood is sunshine.A friend just told me'ive taken my life back..its in my hands now'thats my mantra now Its so much fun 2 hang out with the crew and cast here. Soon boman sir and Lara Will be here too.Haven met them for so long. Looking forward."

So how does it feel to leave the German capital and go back to life as usual in Mumbai? PC took to Twitter to express herself: "Sorry guys i know i had been absconding but just got caught up with shoot. Still in Berlin. Last three days. How depressing. Makes me sad. This has been one of my most favorite outdoors. It had magic. It truly did. Im gonna miss shooting for don 2 tremendously."

As for SRK he has been noticeably absent from Twitter. The star last tweeted when he was celebrating his birthday with his kids in Berlin: slagging with the kids.cut birthday cake in freezing cold.father in law said tv in india celebrating my birthday. thanx media guys..miss u." We're sure they're both happy to be home!

Don 2 - The Chase Continues is set to release in December next year so fans who are eager to see the return of the Don team will have to be patient!

Shahrukh Khan Gets Fined At Mumbai Airport

It’s time to warn our B-town celebs, if you’re traveling back home to Mumbai, get ready to be stopped and searched at the airport, so who’s the unlucky star this time?

After the likes of Bipasha Basu, Minissha Lamba and Anushka Sharma, Bollywood’s Baadshah Shahrukh Khan was next in line to be stopped and searched.

SRK returned to India after an amazing European trip with his entire family; however it wasn’t all that fun when he arrived at Mumbai airport where he was asked to pay a fine of Rs 1.5 lakhs to the airport customs .

So what happened this time? In fact the story sounds quite similar to the ladies mentioned above. SRK’s family had gone over broad with their shopping arriving with 20 bags, the excess baggage made the custom officers suspicious.

Though the rest of the family left straight away, Shahrukh had to wait until customs carried out their routine check and was later released after paying a fine.

We guess B-town celebs are just too busy to take note of how much baggage is permitted on a flight.

Is the airport singling out these actors? Or is it their fault? Let us know what you think!

Shahrukh takes on Shahrukh

Is it going to be Shahrukh Khan v/s Shahrukh Khan over next few months? That's the buzz in the town ever since the First Look of DON hit the screens. Making a huge impact instantly, it has left many wondering whether it was indeed a right move from Shahrukh to allow the teaser to be launched when his RA.ONE is now less than 100 days away.

DON 2 and RA.ONE

DON 2 and RA.ONE

"It is baffling to see DON 2 making such an early entry," says a filmmaker on condition of anonymity, "In so many ways, both these films are similar. Other than the fact that Shahrukh plays the central protagonist here, RA.ONE as well as DON 2 are action thrillers. They are cool, boast of some stylized shoot taking, have been filmed at foreign locations and showcase Shahrukh in a metro-sexual avatar. I feel though that DON 2 could have waited till RA.ONE was out of the way." There are some who are supporting Shahrukh's decision though.

CHECK OUT: Shahrukh sorted out debate over RA.ONE styling

"Creating buzz about his films six months in advance seems to be King Khan's new 'mantra'," a marketing strategist comments in the superstar's defense, "Remember how he released the First Look of RA.ONE so many months back during the World Cup? At that time he stepped in even as his ace rival Salman Khan was gearing up for READY. Now when his own RA.ONE is closer to release, he isn't worried about bringing DON 2 to audience as well. He seems to have planned it out well and perhaps now wants to make the entire second half of 2011 as his own."

Guess the fight is with his own self now as Shahrukh is trying to create the right buzz for both his biggies at the same time.

Shahrukh Khan thanks Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt with expensive gifts

King Khan, Shahrukh Khan, is the big hearted man of Bollywood. Leaving aside his spat with Salman Khan, Shahrukh is well known for his friendly relationships with his co-stars.

Shahrukh roped in Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt for cameos in his much anticipated superhero flick Ra.One. Buzz was that Priyanka and Sanjay had a packed schedule as they were shooting for Agneepath; but Karan Johar, the producer of Agneepath, gave a couple of dates of PC and Sanju to Shahrukh Khan without much ado. No wonder Karan takes Shahrukh as his elder brother.

According to reports, Ra.One’s director Anubhav Sinha and Shahrukh Khan were really impressed after watching Sanjay Dutt’s brawny look which he has built for Agneepath. Both of them felt that it would be great for Ra.One if they could rope in Sanjay. SRK approached Sanjay and he readily agreed, and has finished shooting his cameo along with Piggy Chops (thanks to the date issues being handled by Karan Johar).

But, Shahrukh Khan, being the gentleman he is, thanked Sanjay and Priyanka on a social networking website after the shoot got over. SRK wrote: “3 days of hectic shoot...last 4 days to go. My heartfelt thanx to sanjay dutt and priyanka chopra for being so wonderful on the sets.bless u.”

Not only this, Shahukh has gifted Sanjay Dutt a racing motorcycle costing more than Rs 15 lakhs! He has even gifted Priyanka Chopra an expensive acoustic guitar on her birthday!

Wow! After reading all this I can just wish that I was Shahrukh Khan’s friend!

Gauri likes clean-shaven Shah Rukh Read more at:

Shah Rukh Khan's long hair, unshaven look for Don 2 may be the most anticipated look in Bollywood this year, but the actor isn't fond of it and his wife Gauri Khan hates it. SRK has had to sport the look for the last six months, shooting for the sequel in Malaysia. When he returned to Delhi mid way to attend a wedding in the family, Gauri asked him to get rid of the look. Gauri, reportedly asked Khan to complete the rest of the schedule with a wig.

However, despite hating the look, Khan refused to visit the barber. Ritesh Sidhwani, co-producer of Don 2, said, "When he went to Delhi, he was asked about the long hair and the stubble. But Shah Rukh remained unfazed. He wanted to stay in character throughout."

Respite, however, came in the form of son Aryan. Farhan Akhtar, the director of the film whose wife Adhuna Akhtar conceptualised Khan's look, recalled, "It wasn't easy to keep that look in the Malaysian humidity. But Shah Rukh told me, his son had said after seeing the look, 'Now, that's what a don should look like'."

According to Akhtar, he wanted Don to be re-introduced in a new avatar, something that suggested that he'd been taking it easy and biding his time to make the next big move.

According to a source, SRK wanted his anti-hero act in Don 2 to provide a sharp contrast to his superhero role in Ra.One. All the characters in Don 2 are the same as with the original film, except for two additions ? Kunal Kapoor and Lara Dutta. Khan reportedly spent several weeks with makeup professionals and stylists to get the right look.

Shahrukh Khan to perform daredevil stunts for Ra.One

Superstar Shahrukh Khan is doing everything in his capacity to ensure success for his latest production ‘Ra.One’. So much so that, despite a badly hurt knee the actor is planning to shoot for a high adrenaline bike chasing sequence in the film.
Image: Shahrukh Khan
While Shahrukh was in London on a family holiday, the director of Ra.One, Anubhav Sinha was busy working on the set for the bike chasing scene in Filmistan Studios in Mumbai. The producer-director combo has also decided upon Shahrukh’s bike for the scene which has been specially designed to resemble Batman’s ‘Batpod’. Anita Shroff Adajania has been roped in to design Shahrukh’s outfit for the scene.
Apparently, Shahrukh has decided to do the stunts in the scene himself and will undergo week long training for the same. It was only recently that he was forced to withdraw from a performance in the IIFA Gala in Toronto due to severe knee pain. We wonder how the superstar is planning to manage doing the stunts himself, without a body double. Wish you all the luck Shahrukh!

Revealed sources, SRK will be doing a rescue act in the scene, which also requires him to indulge in some real adrenaline pumping stunts. However no body double has been roped in for it and the King Khan is heard to be quite kicked about doing his own stunts.

Incidentally, SRK who is usually not particularly fond of bikes seems to have differed for 'Ra.One', his ambitious movie.

Shahrukh Khan in his forthcoming superhero flick ‘Ra.One’ will be seen riding a heavy Batman-kind of heavy two wheeler bike. A special bike for SRK has been designed and modified to suit the high-standards of ‘Ra.One’. Shahrukh will be shooting for the talked-about scene next week in Film-city. Till then he will practice the stunts as he will not use any body double and do the action-packed scene all by himself by riding the heavy mean-machine.

Shahrukh risks his knee for a bike stunt in Ra.One

Shahrukh Khan, who is confident that he would pull off the stunts without a body double, may be inviting serious trouble.

The actor who plans to ride the batpod (bike designed for Bat Man) is also required to indulge in some real breathtaking stunts himself.

But, the sore knee has troubled SRK for long. And, the idea of undergoing a knee surgery has put him in dilemma.

"No body double; SRK is taking a huge risk despite having a tear in the meniscus of his left knee, which could get the actor injury for life," says a physiotherapist on the basis of anonymity.

Sources add, “Shahrukh Khan, who is confident that he would pull off the stunts without a body double, will start rehearsing for the same today. And, only after a week of practice, the star will shoot for the real sequence."

Shahrukh will undergo the surgery after the conclusion of the crucial scenes around July end.

Dr. Ali Irani, who is planning to perform the crucial knee surgery with panel of surgeons said," Some of his muscle tendons and ligaments are beyond repair. We are taking a call on what the final corrective surgery procedure should be."

Every superhero needs their own mode of super-transport. While Spiderman has his web to swing with, Superman is bestowed with the magical ability to fly, thanks to his cape.

Hence, Shah Rukh Khan aka G.One in his forthcoming film RA.One has decided to borrow his superhero kin Batman's bike for a sequence to be shot end of next week.

The very crucial scene, one of the few remaining to be shot for the film that is almost ready, will take place at Filmistan Studios, Goregaon.

The scene will have SRK vrooming in his superbike designed specially to resemble Batman's batpod. "SRK will be doing a rescue act in the scene, which also requires him to indulge in some real adrenaline pumping stunts," informed a source.

What's more, Khan will be performing all the daredevil stunts himself. "No body double has been summoned for the shoot," added the source. Shah Rukh Khan who is confident that he would pull off the stunts without a body double, will start rehearsing for the same today. And only after a week of practice, the star will shoot for the real sequence.

"Shah Rukh is not particularly fond of bikes himself. In fact, every time director Anubhav Sinha suggested that he bought one, Khan just refused saying there is no use for a bike," revealed the source. However, for his dream project, Shah Rukh Khan seems to have revised his thoughts on riding a bike.

While SRK was holidaying in London with his family, the director of RA.One was busy preparing the set for the special shoot. Anaita Shroff Adajania had been arranging for Khan's outfit for the scene.

Apart from catering to these two celebs he personally helps a host of celebrities, including Sharman Joshi, Hemant Trivedi, Aftab Shivdasani, Vipul Shah and Nikhil Dwivedi to achieve their fitness goals.

Everyone is now eager for the superstar to arrive and start promotion of his films ‘Don 2’ and ‘Ra. One’

Check out 'Don 2' trailer: Shahrukh Khan rocks!

“Ab mujhe koi nahi rok sakta,” declares the elusive Don who hoodwinked everyone in the first part (Don) and managed to slip away right from under the nose of the cops. Yes, Shahrukh Khan returns as the deadlier and dangerous don in Don 2.

The trailer of Don 2 will be unveiled in theatres on Friday, but has hit the internet a day ahead. It opens with a rather corny but rhyming dialogue in SRK’s voice. “Mere dushman samazh rahe thay ki main kabhi laut ke naa aaoonga, ek gumnaami ka samundar hai usme hi jaa ke doob jaoonga” and blah...blah...blah. But what catches our attention is the way the trailer showcases Shahrukh’s strut and swagger.

The way he sports the long hair and stubble and lights up a cigarette while flaunting his ‘D’ tattoo and how he jumps off a high-rise. Shahrukh just rocks as the new don.

Shahrukh Khan’s fans have been waiting desperately for the sequel ever since director Farhan Akhtar gave an open ending to Don! Don 2 would begin with Roma, played by Priyanka Chopra, knowing the fact that Don has survived and it is Vijay who has died. Don would now be all ready to settle the scores with his enemies and friends who betrayed him. So we see a lot of pyrotechnics as the cars are blown up.

Although two new additions have been made in Don 2 in the face of Lara Dutta and Kunal Kapoor, the rest of the cast is the same as Don and includes Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani and Om Puri.

The film will release on December 23, just two days ahead of Christmas. Guess Don 2 will conclude 2011 with a BOOM!

Missing the trailer below would be your loss:

Only Piggy Chops, Aamir and Salman Khan featured in the top 20 list of famecount.com. This survey has raised many eyebrows with the likes of Shahrukh and Amitabh Bachchan missing on the final twenty.

Shahrukh, Sunny kiss and make-up

Sunny Deol and Shahrukh Khan, who were at logger heads since their ‘Darr’ days have reconciled. It was post the recently held IIFA event at Toronto that the two stars decided to end their decade old rivalry and made up. According to an onlooker, the two bumped into each other at the airport and to everyone’s surpise, bonded like old pals. Not just that, as later when Bobby joined them, SRK bonded well with him too.

The duo enjoyed each other’s company and decided to sit together in the flight. However, if sources are to be believed, their rivalry has not ended completely as yet.

Meanwhile, it has also been reported that Sunny’s ‘I Love New Year’ and SRK’s ‘Don 2’ are slated to hit the screens somewhere near Christmas this year. According to the sources, ‘I Love New Year’ was previously slated to release on December 30th, but recently the film's producers, Excel Entertainment announced that the film will be released on December 23rd, incidentally on the same day when SRK’s ‘Don 2’ will release.

Now, the news has put director Bhushan Kumar in a dilemma, for he shares not so nice relationship with SRK. It is said that Bhushan does not want any kind of clash with King Khan and thus is making every effort to settle down the issue.

However, the story has its other side too, where more than Sunny, directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru seem responsible for the clash. Not to forget that sometime back, SRK refused to give the title ‘Happy New Year’ to the director duo, who are said to share a good rapport with frenemy Salman Khan.

Coming back to the topic, the cold vibes between the actors started after Sunny lashed out at Yash Chopra chopping a good amount of his role from 'Darr' to give more importance to Shahrukh’s character. This ensued a fallout between the two actors, who never patched up after the incident.

Well, all can we say is that now when the two superstars are friends again, how about doing a film together

Shah Rukh-Sunny's love-hate relationship

Sunny Deol and Shah Rukh Khan
Sunny Deol and Shah Rukh Khan
A wound heals but the scar remains. And that's something evident in Sunny Deol and Shah Rukh Khan's new found friendship.

They may have kissed and made up on a flight from Toronto to Mumbai (Mumbai Mirror reported on July 4), and sorted out their personal differences but their professional tiff is still on.

This Christmas, the two actors are again preparing to keep aside their new 'good friends' status and backtrack to their professional animosity. Sunny's I Love New Year and SRK's Don 2 will clash at the box office on December 23 to revive their age-old rivalry.

A source said, "Bhushan Kumar's I Love New Year was previously slated to release on December 30th, but now it will release on December 23rd. Incidentally on the same day Shahrukh's Don 2 releases and his producers, Excel Entertainment had announced the date of release well in advance.

However, in this case more than Sunny, it appears, I Love New Year's director duo Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru are responsible for this clash. This can also be their way to get back at SRK who refused to give them the title Happy New Year since the director duo is close to Salman Khan. They are confident about their film. However Bhushan Kumar, the producer of the film is in a fix as he is close to SRK."

Two years ago, at one of his parties, Subhash Ghai managed to break the ice between the actors but it was never the same. Our source said, "There has been a long history to their rivalry. Both of them worked together for the first and last time in Yash Chopra's Darr.

Sunny was a huge star back then while SRK was a newcomer. After the film released an otherwise soft spoken Sunny Deol lashed out at Yash Chopra and SRK for giving him a raw deal in the film. Sunny is someone who forgets but does not forgives.

Now both of them again met at the Toronto airport where they were present for an award ceremony and started chatting. However, that might be only on the personal level."

When contacted Ajay Kapoor, the co-producer of the film and director of T. Series said, "We are releasing the film on 23rd December. Don 2 and our film are as different as chalk and cheese. Our's is a romantic comedy."

When asked him about the history of rivalry between Sunny and SRK, he said, "We have not decided on the release date intentionally. The film is about new year so has to come around that time."
