Abhijeet Bhattacharya: I’ll never sing for Shahrukh Khan again

Abhijeet Bhattachary

India’s renowned playback singer, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, who was once hailed as the voice of Shah Rukh Khan, has remarked that he will never sing for SRK again.

Abhijeet recently had an exclusive interview with the TOI, in which he said there are things he is hurt about.

The singer, now 53, stated Indian filmmaking industry never gives a singer his due credit. Abhijeet said no one out there knows who sings for Shah Rukh and this is discrimination.

Abhijeet told TOI, “I don’t know why our filmmakers never give singers due credit. During the end credits of ” Main Hoon Na”, the singers’ names appeared right at the end.”

Abhijeet further claimed that his voice has made SRK what he is today but now he will never sing for him until he apologizes to him.

He said, “Except for pubs and discotheques, where does one hear that song? But folks still fondly remember the “Chalte Chalte”, “Yes Boss” and “Main Hoon Na” numbers. It is these songs that have immortalised Shah Rukh. I will never sing for him again.”

Shahrukh Khan not too long ago locked many headlines in the country for having a fight with Farah Khan’s husband. Khan later on apologised to Farah’s husband and may be this is a reason why Abhijeet thinks apologising to him shouldn’t be a problem for Shah Rukh.

He concluded, “Sorry bol do! When you can make up with Farah Khan, whose husband tweeted rubbish about you, then there should be no problem with a simple man like me. But this is not about me. I want all singers to get their due. There is this one incident I just can’t forget.”

Well, it seems as if Abhijeet certainly has some problems with him because it hardly matters if he sings for SRK or not. SRK himself doesn’t want him to sing and the reason behind is obviously his voice, which has become old now.

Aamir Khan avoiding Shahrukh?

Looks like the famous Khans have given us something to talk about once again! The buzz is that Aamir Khan who is known to give the cold shoulder to Shahrukh Khan kind of did it again. Even though SRK was not present, the media kept trying to get Aamir Khan to comment about the actor at a recent press conference for Aamir Khan's new reality TV show Satyamev Jayate.

The media got suspicious when Aamir was praising Bollywood actors who made a presence on the small screen, and seemed to mention everyone expect Shahrukh who's show,TV Histrionics has created a buzz. "I loved Amitabhji's Kaun Banega Crorepati, Hrithik's dance show. I haven't seen Bigg Boss butSalman's Dus Ka Dum. I enjoyed watching these shows." The media then began questioning Aamir asking him to comment on Shahrukh's shows and he refused to comment.

Could this be because Aamir Khan doesn't fancy Shahrukh, and wishes not to comment on him at all? Or does he just think that TV Histrionics sucks and is being polite by not commenting? Whatever the case is, people love buzzing about the Khan's feuding , and this has given them more of a reason to do it. What are your thoughts on this situation? And since Aamir didn't answer the question, what do you think about SRK's presence on the small screen?

Shahrukh Khan has thoughts on food and spirituality

Shahrukh Khan has thoughts on food and spirituality

The workaholic superstar actor Shahrukh Khan has often said in interviews that food is one of the least of his interests in life. Isn’t it obvious from his lean body frame? Serve him a plate of yummy chickentikka masala and tender naan (Indian bread) and he is overjoyed. But even that is a matter of producing energy rather than being a foodie. His food tastes are simple and limited. But there are hidden depths to him even in this mundane matter of food. Consider what happened not that long ago when delectable-looking New York-based chef Vikas Khanna (he owns fancy eating places in Big Apple and hosted the Indian version of Masterchef India last year) asked SRK to feature in his food film – the star actor couldn’t refuse the star culinarian. So you will see SRK in Khanna’s documentary, The Moon Of Eid, one part of a series that looks at various religions and their food habits.

Perhaps for the first time the superstar will share his thoughts on food and eating. He gave a lengthy, in-depth interview and provided a taste of the Eid parties he hosts every year. In a report, the New-York based chef is quoted as saying, “I was with Shahrukh Khan for the shoot of the film. He spoke about food and spirituality. It was an amazing experience to see him talk about his food belief in reference toiftar (the evening meal when Muslims break their fast during the Islamic month of Ramadan).”

We don’t know about you, but we definitely would like to have a copy of that DVD in which the superstar regales his audience with yummy bytes. That would be one delicious viewing experience!

Shahrukh Khan (ist.)
Jakarta - Nasib sial menimpa bintang Bollywood Shahrukh Khan.

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan who co-owns the Kolkata Knight Riders IPL franchisee and runs a film production house, Sunday said he was not an entrepreneur but an actor who endeavours to make a difference with his acting.

"I am hardly an entrepreneur. I don't even think of myself as a star. I see myself as someone who is trying to make a difference with his acting," said Shahrukh Khan addressing the media at the inauguration of Prayag Film City (PFC) in West Midnapore's Chandrakona, some 130 km from here (Kolkata).

"I come from a middle-class background. I like to work 18-20 hours a day and for the last 30 years I have been following this schedule. I have two passions: sports and film making. I have a production house and a cricket franchisee," said Khan.

Khan, who was present at the curtain raiser of the phase-1 of the sprawling PFC, said the facility will make a difference to the art of film making not only in eastern India but to the entire film fraternity of the country.

"I feel the film city will become a one stop film making centre where you come with a good story and go out with a great film."

He has also been signed in as the brand ambassador the PFC.

The actor also regaled the gathering with some of his famous dialogues from his films Don, Baazigar and Devdas and danced to a popular song from the movie Ra.One.

Can Katrina Kaif recreate the chemistry Shahrukh Khan shared with Kajol?

Can Katrina Kaif recreate the chemistry Shahrukh Khan shared with Kajol?

It’s a tough order to live up to, but we hear that the superstar’s leading lady was told to take cue from Kajol of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge for the romantic scenes in Yash Chopra’s latest love story

Out of all of Shahrukh Khan’s leading ladies, Kajol undoubtedly shares the best onscreen chemistry with the badshah of romance. It’s not that he doesn’t look good with Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone or Anushka Sharma. The camera captures the awe and adulation the pretty young ladies have for the superstar. But whenever SRK has shared the screen space with Kajol, Madhuri Dixit or Juhi Chawla, the physicality and mental understanding between them has been natural and plausible. SRK and Kads look the best together though. May be because they were young and walking the same road to stardom together made them look most comfortable with each other.

Recently, during the shoot of Yash Chopra’s romantic drama, SRK’s newest co-star Katrina Kaif was experiencing difficultly looking in love with the superstar. Probably because she was too much in awe of the king of romance! To make things simple and easy for the Chikni Chameli, Chopra senior’s son Aditya, who is supposed to be directing the romantic scenes in the film, told her to keep in mind the playful and uninhibited Kajol of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. In fact, the love scenes between SRK-Kat are inspired from SRK-Kajol’s equation in the romantic blockbuster.

Katrina is definitely happy with the way the romance in the film has turned out. “I’d like to think Shah Rukh and I share the same on-screen chemistry as he did with Kajol and Madhuri. I’ve learnt a lot by simply observing him especially in the romantic sequences,” she said in an interview.

Let’s wait to watch if Kat has managed to relive the chemistry SRK and Kajol shared. While we doubt it could be possible, we wouldn’t be shocked if Kat surprised us.

Priyanka Chopra doesn’t want to discuss Shahrukh Khan

Priyanka Chopra dosen’t want to discuss Shahrukh Khan

Priyanka’s alleged link-up with the superstar has changed her equation with SRK forever. The actor now wants to refrain from talking about any topic revolving around her Don co-star

Priyanka Chopra, who hardly ever ducked questions with the usual ‘no comments’ statement, seems to have decided to not comment on any question related to Shahrukh Khan. In fact, the actor has started to get irked when a question on the King Khan is squeezed in by the media.

Recently, when a journo asked her about her link up with the Baadshah Khan, Priyanka chose to keep mum. “By being extremely loud, doesn’t mean I’ll answer your questions. Thank You,” replied the 29-year-old actor. It is said that PC’ extreme closeness with Shahrukh irked Shahrukh’s wife Gauri and since then a very powerful circle of star wives have been plotting and bitching about the actor. When she was asked about this by a reporter, Priyanka chose to look the other way.

Clearly, Priyanka simply wants to refrain from talking about of her once-flourishing-friendship with the man she admired the most. At another do that took place about a week ago, a reporter asked Priyanka if Shahrukh still makes her blush, a fact that was captured by cameras on Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee with Karan a couple of years ago, but PC now says she hasn’t said anything of that sort. Now, come on Priyanka! Should we show you the recorded copy of the TV show?

And just like Priyanka, Shahrukh too is has decided to go completely mum on the matter. We wish the two could just come clean on the issue and put an end to the controversy (even though we would lose out on a lot of drama that has kept us going for the last few months). But surely there is more to it than what meets the eye.

SRK's detention case: India asks US to avoid such incidents

Shahrukh Khan Washington: Taking up Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan's detention case with the US, India has asked Washington to take steps in order to avoid such incidents in the future.

To "convey the deep concern that has been expressed nationwide in India" over Khan's detention at White Plains airport near New York on Thursday, the Indian Embassy here said that it has taken up the matter with the US Department of State.

It has also "sought the State Department's intervention to institute appropriate measures to avoid recurrence of such an incident in the future", it said in a press note on Saturday.

According to the embassy's version of the incident, about half an hour after the arrival of "the internationally renowned Indian film star" by a private jet at White Plains airport on Thursday afternoon, the Indian consulate in New York received information that he had not been cleared by the US Customs and Border Protection (USCBP).

"The Consulate General immediately intervened with the concerned authorities for his early clearance, which was done within 75 minutes of his arrival," it said.

"Khan thereafter left the airport. The same evening, USCBP authorities, through an email to the Consulate General conveyed their profound apology for the incident.

Caught on the wrong foot over the detaining of Khan at a US airport twice in less than three years, Washington had on Friday asserted it was not a case of racial profiling or a pattern.

Suggesting that Khan was not "detained", but "simply delayed", State Department spokesperson Mark Toner said, "I wouldn't necessarily look at this as some sort of pattern but rather two separate incidents."

Toner also dismissed a suggestion that it was racial profiling. "I think we all know that that's clearly not the case. The fact of the matter is tens of thousands of Muslims travel to and from the United States every day and are not detained or delayed."

In August 2009, too, Khan was detained at New Jersey's Newark airport.

Abhay Deol better than Shah Rukh Khan'

Actor Abhay Deol, who plays a Tamil IAS officer in Dibakar Banerjee`s next `Shanghai`, took language lessons to get into the skin of his character, and the director feels that he has surpassed Shah Rukh Khan`s act in `Ra.One`.

SRK played a Tamil game designer, Shekhar Subramaniam in his dream project. Now, in Dibakar`s venture, Abhay plays a 40-year-old Tamil bureaucrat.

"I can say he did better than that (Shahrukh Khan`s Tamil act). Before the shoot began, for three months, he (Abhay) had asked for a Tamil coach who can teach him Tamil alphabets, language and the accent. He had also asked me to rehearse Tamil lines with him before the shoot," Dibakar told reporters here last night, at the first look of `Shanghai`.

For Abhay, playing this role was not an easy task.

"This character is alien to me. So I worked more on the language. The character that I play is egoistical, short-tempered, he is very reserved and religious person. The big stumbling block for me was the language. As I am a Tamil guy in this film, so on the accent part, we did not want to make it sound stereotype, as whenever we have had South Indian characters in Hindi films they bring those typical accent," Abhay said.

"We were having someone on the sets who was Tamil, who used to read the dialogues to me, I did study the language. I took accent only in certain words only as we did not want to stereotype it. So how do we not make stereotype and yet make it sound Tamil, was the main thing for me to do," he said.

For this film, Abhay would also be seen sporting a moustache.

Does Katrina Kaif talks about Salman Khan with Shahrukh?

Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan Mumbai: Katrina Kaif has all the luck because she gets 'protection' from not one but two Khans even though her protectors are themselves rivals.

According to reports, while shooting for their film in London, Shahrukh Khan was so caring about Katrina that he assigned his own bodyguards to keep her away from overzealous fans. Katrina is believed to have not employed her own bodyguards while shooting for an untitled romantic film under Yash Raj productions.

London being her home, Katrina loves travelling without security but due to her immense popularity among the sizeable number of Indian community, she needed some protection. That was when the 'large hearted' SRK decided to provide his own bodyguards for her safety.

Not only this, reports say that Shahrukh also asked his team to get some warm clothing for Katrina to beat the chilly London weather.

Buzz is that Katrina has grown close to SRK to the extent that she discusses her personal life with him. We wonder if she mentions her other 'protector', Salman Khan, in her conversations with Shahrukh.

Priyanka, Shahrukh's alleged love affair come to an end

Last time Priyanka Chopra cheered for Kolkata Knight Riders standing by her thick friend and alleged boyfriend Shahrukh Khan but this time, she played safe. Considering the fact that lots has been written and said about her alleged affair with Shahrukh Khan, Piggy Chops is slowly distancing her from SRK and his team.

She performed at the unveiling ceremony of the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium in Pune with Bipasha Basu and Preity Zinta. The stadium hosted its first ever Cricket match between Pune Warriors and King's XI Punjab. She looked ravishing in a bright red gorgeous saree styled in Maharashtrian way and standing alongside Mr. Bachchan, she answered media's questions.

When asked if she wasn't supporting Kolkata Knight Riders this time around as last year. The actress however gave a smart reply as she said, "I have many Bollywood friends who own IPL teams. There is Preity, Shilpa so I am going to be cheering for all of them."

Priyanka and Shahrukh Khan's friendship not only ends in personal front but on professional front also. She has been highly targeted by stars wives as well as filmmaker Karan Johar. Karan who is a bosom friend of Priyanka did not like the rumor that has been doing about SRK and the actress and has blamed the actress for using PR machinery to justify her stand.

On looking all those facts, it can be assumed that in future, it's very hard to see SRK, Priyanka together on-screen.

Shahrukh, Salman Emerge Mumbai's Highest Tax Payers

Leading Bollywood stars Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan have emerged as the highest tax payers from Mumbai with both of them leading the pack by paying Rs 15 crore each in taxes during the financial year ending March 31, 2012.

Salman’s tax outgo was 20% higher in 2011-12, while Shahrukh’s tax out go was 20% less than in the year 2011. Shahrukh Khan had two hits last year namely Ra.One and Don2.

Some industry reports say that Shahrukh charges a fee of 30-35 crore per film and around Rs 6-7 crore for his endorsements. Meanwhile, Salman Khan charges a fee of Rs 40 crore per film.

Last year he had two biggest hits Bodyguard and Ready. Salman has an endorsement rate of 1.5 crore per day.

Legendary super star actor Amitabh Bachchan who is well-known for his television show Kaun Banega Crorepati paid a tax of 7 crore. His earnings largely comes from KBC where he charges a fee amounting to 1.5 crore per episode. The veteran actor’s tax outgo fell by 10% compared to 2010-11.

The well-known actor from the Kapoor family Ranbir Kapoor who delivered a beautiful role in Rockstar also paid 7 crore. He charges 10 crore per film and his endorsement fee is between 1.5-2 crore.

According to a senior income-tax official, a large part of the leading film stars income come from fees for promotions and endorsements.

The fees of these actors are determined by the market value of the stars in the film industry.

Guess what SRK and Salman have in common?

Bollywood badshah Shahrukh Khan has done it yet again as he replaces the Khiladi Akshay Kumar as the number one tax payer from Bollywood for the financial year ending 31 March 2012.

But hold on. He’s not alone at the top. Rival Salman Khan is has also shelled out as much. The duo have paid Rs 15 crore each as taxes for FY12, said an Economic Times report today.

The duo have paid Rs 15 crore each as tax for FY12

Even though both the Khans had two big hits last year, what’s interesting is the tax outgo. While Shahrukh’s tax outgo was 20 percent less than last year’s, Salman’s was 20 percent higher in 2011-12, said the report.

Also it seems like Salman Khan has a marginally higher brand value than SRK as the former charges Rs 40 crore per movie and Rs 1.5 crore per day for endorsements, while the latter charges around Rs 35 crore for a movie and Rs six to seven crore for endorsements.

Meanwhile Saif Ali Khan Pataudi, Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor paid Rs 7 crore each as tax.

Shahrukh Khan detained at New York airport for two hours

Shahrukh Khan detained at New York airport for two hours

SRK, who was detained by the immigration authorities, was allowed to go only after his hosts intervened and took up the issue with the Department of Homeland Security in Washington, according to sources. As part of the Yale Chubb Fellowship, Khan later attended a reception and dinner at Timothy Dwight College at New Haven Connecticut with over 120 Yale students including members of the South Asian Society at Yale, before taking a return flight on Thursday night. Before addressing the students at Yale University after joining the roster of Yale University’s Chubb Fellows, one of the Ivy League institution’s highest honours, for promoting human ideals through art, Khan recalled he was “detained” at the airport “as always happens”. Due to Khan’s detention at the airport, the Yale event in New Haven started an hour late.

In August 2009 also, Khan was stopped at the Newark Airport and was released after two hours at the intervention of the Indian consulate in New York. “I was really hassled at the American Airport because my name was Khan…It was absolutely uncalled for…I felt angry and humiliated,” said Shahrukh, who was then heading towards Chicago to participate in an Independence Day celebration event then. “It is a Muslim name and I think the name is common on their checklist,” he had then said.

The Chubb Fellowship is devoted to encouraging and aiding Yale students interested in the operations of government and in public service. Each year three or four distinguished men and women have been appointed as visiting Chubb Fellows. Former Chubb Fellows include presidents George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, and Jimmy Carter; authors Octavio Paz, Carlos Fuentes, and Toni Morrison; filmmaker Sofia Coppola; architect Frank Gehry; choreographer Mikhail Baryshnikov; and journalist Walter Cronkite.

Bollywood actor detained at U.S. airport, again

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan was detained at a New York airport for over two hours by immigration officials after arriving on a private plan from India to address students of Ivy League college, Yale, reports the Hindustan Times.

Khan was cleared by authorities at White Plains airport after two hours and arrived at his scheduled talk three hours late.

Khan was detained in 2009 by authorities at Newark airport and released after Indian embassy officials intervened reported the BBC.

Then Khan had said he was stopped because he had a Muslim name but U.S. authorities claimed the actor was not detained, only questioned.
It is unclear why he was detained on Thursday.

“Whenever I start feeling too arrogant about myself I always take a trip to America. The immigration guys kicked the star out of stardom,” Khan told students at Yale, reported the Hindustan Times.

However, he also showed a sense of humor, saying that he was grateful for “small victories” in such circumstances.

“They (immigration officials) always ask me how tall I am and I always lie and say 5 feet 10 inches. Next time I am going to get more adventurous. [If they ask me] What color are you, I am going to say white,” Khan said.

Officials at Yale University said the actor was “very very upset” at the episode and it “took time for the university officials to make him comfortable again.”

SRK detained for two hours at a New York airport

NEW HAVEN: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was detained at a New York airport for over two hours by immigration officials after arriving from India in a private plane with Nita Ambani, to address students at Yale University here.

While Nita, wife of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, and the rest of their group were cleared immediately, Khan was stopped and was given immigration clearance only after about two hours, sources told PTI.

46-year-old Khan was to address a press conference at 2pm and deliver his lecture at 4pm at the Yale University.

However, he arrived for the press meet three hours behind schedule and his hour-long lecture started at about 6pm.

"Whenever I start feeling too arrogant about myself, I always take a trip to America. The immigration guys kicked the star out of stardom," Khan said with some sarcasm addressing the students at the University.

He added that he always has his "small victories" even in such circumstances.

"They (immigration officials) always ask me how tall I am and I always lie and say 5 feet 10 inches. Next time I am going to get more adventurous. (If they ask me) What colour are you, I am going to say white," Khan said.

Earlier, when informed about Khan being held up at the White Plains airport in New York, Yale University officials "contacted and spoke with officials at the Department of Homeland Security and Department of US Immigration and Customs in Washington," the sources said.

They added that Khan was "very very upset" at the episode and it "took time for the university officials to make him comfortable again."

The actor, who is scheduled to fly back to India later on Friday night, visited Connecticut-based Yale University, which had conferred him with its prestigious Chubb fellowship.

As part of the fellowship, Khan addressed a gathering of hundreds of Yale students, parents, faculty and other members of the Indian-American community at the Yale campus.

Before beginning his address to the students, Khan, dressed in a chic black suit, said that it had been a long flight and thanked Ambani for getting him to the US.

Ambani's daughter Isha is a student at Yale and is also president of the South Asian Society at the university.

Khan went on to say that he was "detained at the airport as always."

"It was nice, as it always happens," Khan said with a slight smile even as students in the audience gave out a large sigh and booed the US authorities when they heard Khan telling them he was detained.

While Khan told the students he was stopped for about an hour and a half, sources said he was at the airport for over two hours.

They said he told them that this is not the first time he has been stopped at an airport in the country and this has happened to him "three to four times before."

The most recent one was in 2009 when Khan was detained at the Newark Airport in New Jersey.

Khan had said at the time he was detained for nearly two hours at the Newark International Airport because of his last name.

The private plane carrying Khan, Ambani and their group landed at White Plains Airport, which is about 53 kilometres from Manhattan, at around 12:45 in the afternoon.

Sources said while everyone with him cleared immigration soon, he was stopped and had to wait till 2:30pm before he was cleared by the immigration.

The sources said since the White Plains airport is a small facility, everyone who was with Khan waited together for him to get his clearance.

The detention had caused "tense" moments for Khan and his team, who sources said were "struggling" to get the situation sorted out.

Khan did not mention anything about the detention during the nearly 20 minute press conference.

Members of his team as well as the university officials too did not talk about the reasons for his detention.

When contacted, Khan said through a member of his team that he would not make any comments on the episode.

The person said Khan stressed that the American immigration officials "kick the star out of stardom," adding that the episode had left a bad taste.

Will Priyanka Chopra cheer for Shahrukh Khan’s KKR this year?

The cracks in Priyanka Chopra and Shahrukh Khan’s relationship have started to show. The once upon a time bosom buddies, who claimed that they are extremely good friends and nothing could come in their way, have now started showing their backs to each other. And the one person who plays a major role in triggering the fight is SRK’s close friend Karan Johar, who didn’t hesitate twice before directing his bitter innuendos at PC on micro blogging site Twitter recently.

It was only a matter of time before all the brouhaha and humiliation could get to Piggy Chopra. She is now making it a point to stay miles away from SRK, his astute wife and his doting best friend Karan Johar. So when PC was asked in an interview recently if she’ll be cheering or KKR this year, she paused for a while and replied that she has a lot of friends in B-town who own IPL teams, so her wishes are with everybody.

Well gone are the days when the Teri Meri Kahaani babe had sweet and affectionate praises to sing about her Don 2 co- star Shahrukh Khan. After this bitter episode, PC only sings songs of diplomacy and tactfulness…

Complaint filed against SRK for smoking at IPL match

#

Some time back it was a Goa-based anti tobacco organization that served a legal notice to actor and KKR team owner Shah Rukh Khan for smoking in public at a summit and at a cricket tournament in Mumbai. Well this year, yet another complaint was filed in a court in Jaipur on Monday against SRK for publicly smoking at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium during a cricket match on Sunday.

Bollywood Hungama has learnt that the complaint lodged by lawyer Nem Singh Rathore on behalf of Jaipur Cricket Academy director Anand Singh Rathore was submitted in the court of the additional chief judicial magistrate, which has since fixed the date of April 12 for hearing in the matter. Apparently, smoking public is banned in Rajasthan since 2000. However, Shah Rukh Khan was smoking publicly in front of thousands of spectators.

Further, the complainant added that while other viewers in the stadium were frisked and their cigarette packets were confiscated, the actor was allowed entry, which is negligence on part of the police also.

Shah Rukh Khan has once again thrown himself into the IPL like a dedicated team owner, travelling through the country for matches. But even though he has it all, King Khan wishes for one thing. "God has been kind, but we continue to want more. I wish there was a way I could share my experiences with fans and friends in real time."

That wish has now come true, with Nokia announcing the launch of 'SRK TV', allowing the star to become a broadcaster and share his experiences live with fans.

Over the past five years, Nokia has been a dedicated partner to the Kolkata Knight Riders. "Our association with Nokia has made us synonymous with each other. We are now in our fifth season of association, and I believe it is time to live up to the trust they have had in KKR," says Shah Rukh. Each year, Nokia and KKR launch a brand campaign for their consumers, and this year's campaign is 'Nokia Channel Me', which allows you to share personal experiences live with the world.

Existing and new Nokia smartphone consumers can join SRK and have their own personalised channels too! All they have to do is download the Fun2Shoot app from Nokia Store (for Symbian smartphones) and Windows Phone Marketplace (for Nokia Lumia customers) and create their own personalised channel on www.nokiachannelme.com, and start streaming live. Will SRK be at these parties? "I'll try my best, but the KKR players will definitely be there," he promises.

Additionally, consumers who buy select Nokia smartphones during the IPL season will not only receive assured gifts such as the Nokia KKR fan kit, but also get a chance to win a DC Design-modified Honda City car! Shah Rukh Khan busy for Farah Khan till 2013

Shah Rukh Khan busy for Farah Khan till 2013
Shah Rukh Khan with Farah Khan

Shah Rukh Khan will work with his once best friend Farah Khan again. In the project they had together thought of, years back. But not in the next two years. That's right. We are sorry to douse the dreams of the many excited to see SRK recreate an OSO or a Main Hoon Na on screen. They will surely have to wait for a while.

While certain sections of the media have been busy creating brouhaha over Farah joining hands with the actor, Mirror has learnt that Khan's calendar is choc-a-bloc for the coming months.

Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently busy shooting for Yash Chopra's directorial comeback with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, will start his project Chennai Express with Rohit Shetty soon after, in August.

Though the female lead for the film is yet to be finalised, sources reveal that SRK is keen on starting the venture as soon as he finishes Chopra's project in July. And after that, he will have to choose between his childhood friend Anil Senior and Bollywood buddy Farah's projects ABCD and Happy New Year respectively.

On October 8, 2011, Mumbai Mirror told you how SRK had already chalked out plans for his next, ABCD - a film to be made by his childhood friend. And according to sources from the industry, after Shetty's Chennai Express, SRK would most probably opt for this project. This however, leaves Farah standing last in the queue.

"Till now, SRK was scheduled to work on Rohit Shetty's film Chennai Express first and then Farah Khan's Happy New Year. However, now he wants to work on his childhood friend, Anil Senior's film ABCD. He will be an actor and producer for the project. Also, Khan wants to start work on his mythological opus based on Karna. If things go as planned, Farah's plans will be pushed further. And Happy New Year will not start before end of 2013," said the source.

According to the source, SRK after finishing Yash Chopra's film will start Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express and then move on to Anil Senior's ABCD. "The rest of the creative calls will be taken only after the IPL season next year. In all probability, he will start work on his mythological," added the source.

We sent a text message to Farah Khan who chose not to revert.
