Shahrukh Khan apologizes for Wankhede mishap

Shahrukh Khan’s happiness knows no bounds. He is eclectic after his Kolkata Knight Riders picked the Indian Premiere League for the first time. So much is his cheerfulness that he even apologized for his action at the Wankhede Stadium with the MCA guards, something he swore he would never do. A visibly happy and excited Shahrukh Khan expressed regret for the scuffle at the stadium that earned him a 5 years ban from the stadium. He also apologized to the kids who saw a very different side of him. He agrees that he shouldn’t have misbehaved that day. But with this win, his fans should pardon him for this offence as finally his team has won.

Talking about the Man Of The match of the finals, Manvinder Bisla of KKR, the actor said that he is absolutely proud of every team member from Gautam Gambhir to the other players. They made video files of the families of the players of the team and Bisla’s parents spoke at length about him. Shahrukh is sure they are feeling as much proud of the cricketer as him. He feels it is time the citizens of Bengal own up to their team.

Shahrukh also added that he always knew his team will lift the trophy this season. They have been resilient and have slogged a lot this time. He even thanked Dhoni and his team for all the support. He is firm that this is one moment none of the people associated with his team will ever forget. We too feel really good for Shahrukh Khan. This man has been going through a very rough patch with his dream Ra.One turning into a nightmare and all his friends joining the enemy gang. KKR’s win will seep in some jubilation in his life. Make the most of it SRK! Congratulations!

Shahrukh Khan apologises for MCA scuffle after KKR win IPL 2012 final!

Shahrukh Khan has been in the middle of controversies this entire Indian Premier League (IPL) season. After a case was registered by Rajasthan police against him for smoking in the stadium, SRK found himself in a scuffle with MCA (Mumbai Cricket Association) officials at the Wankhede stadium and was banned from entering the premises of Wankhede for five years. But last night, when his team Kolkata Knight Riders beat defending champions Chennai Super Kings on their home ground to lift the cup, SRK felt quiet redeemed.
As soon as his team scored the winning runs, the actor climbed on the railing and pointed at the sky. Then he ran on to the field and jumped on Jacques Kallis, whose brilliant innings brought KKR closer to victory. He hugged almost every player and staff, including Wasim Akram. He also did cartwheels for the viewers. But not all of his moves were spontaneous. The actor coaxed his kids and their friends, and his wife Gauri to accompany him to the middle of the field. He also encouraged them to take centrestage and speak to host Samir Kochar. It was obvious that he was making a statement on the MCA incident.
When he was asked to mouth a dialogue from Om Shanti Om, the actor saw it as an the opportunity to take a dig at the MCA and said, “I should be careful or people will say I am drunk. I am just happy, not drunk!”
In the end, King Khan decided to redeem himself by apologising to his kids and fans. “I want to apologise to the kids for my misbehaviour at MCA. I apologise to all who saw that side to me. I shouldn’t have behaved in that manner. But today my team has won, so I guess, all you fans should forgive me. We have won at last,” he said. All’s well that end’s well! Right, SRK?

Triumphant Shahrukh Khan apologises for misbehaviour at MCA

Triumphant Shahrukh Khan apologises for misbehaviour at MCA
Nothing tastes sweeter than success and now that Shahrukh Khan is over the moon after the win of his team Kolkata Knight Riders in the finals of the IPL 5, the superstar has apologised for his misbehaviour at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium earlier this month. The scuffle with security of MCA had resulted in Shahrukh being banned from entering Wankhede for five years.

But on Sunday, after KKR emerged as the champions of DLF IPL trophy, King Khan was gracious enough to apologise for his action at MCA. However, his apology was directed towards his ‘cheer girls’ (including his daughter Suhana and her friends) and not MCA.

“I want to apologise to the kids for my misbehaviour at the MCA. I apologise to all who saw me differently. I shouldn't have behaved in that manner. But today my team has won, so I guess, all you fans should forgive me. We have won at last,” he said.

Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla’s team KKR has seen a lot of ups and downs in the last five years and the superstar underscored the importance of resilience, patience and hard work in achieving success.

“We have been resilient. We knew we would win because we have worked hard in the season. Thank you Dhoni and Chennai for all the support. This is the most memorable thing for everybody at Kolkata Knight Riders,” he said.

The superstar also revealed that he had dreamed the previous night that Manvinder Bisla, the star of the KKR final win, would score a century.

"I am proud of Gautam and the boys. We made a video of families of all our players and saw Manvinder Bisla's parents speaking about their son. They must be very proud and so am I. I want to tell the people of Bengal, that now this team belongs to you," he said.

We at ApunKaChoice congratulate Shahrukh Khan for his team’s penultimate win at IPL 5.

So what if the world called him drunk and ill-behaved. Looks like nothing's gonna deter this man's spirit. Yes, we are talking about the bollywood badshah, Shah Rukh Khan who has become the talk of the town since the IPL brawl in Wankhede stadium. Shah Rukh Khan is a man who wears his heart on his sleeve.

Even though tongues can't stop wagging about his changing image, the undying spirit of the actor continues to be on a high. After he narrated his side of the story to the media, the actor had put the episode behind and was his usual self again! He went to shoot a an ad soon after. Shows that the actor has moved on.
And a few days ago he posted a picture of him on twitter. Even though he was unshaven at Karan Johar's 40th birthday party yesterday, he looks better here. This picture was clicked by none other Suhana, the actor's daughter.

He tweeted, "my lil girl took this pic of mine. i think its the coolest i have ever looked. thanx suhana...my official fotographer." The doting dad never lets go of an opportunity to praise his kids. Whatever his temperament is, when it comes to fulfilling his responsibilities as a father, his image has never taken a beating. Now, with his team Kolkata Knight Riders entering the finals, he has no reason to crib. SRK's KKR will take on Chennai Super Kings in the finals and King Khan has promised to take his shirt off and dance should his team win the cup. His fans can't wait to see him perform the act!

Shahrukh's apology likely to be taken up at MCA meeting on Monday

MUMBAI: The Mumbai Cricket Association, officials, who had imposed a five-year ban on Shah Rukh Khan, are likely to discuss later on Monday the apology rendered by the Bollywood superstar at Chennai on Sunday for his misbehaviour at the Wankhede Stadium on May 16.

An MCA source maintained that the principal owner of new IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders had not apologised directly to the association, but pointed out that at least the actor had conceded that he had not behaved properly.

"He has not apologised to the MCA, has he? Anyway he had at least admitted he has not behaved in a proper manner. There is a managing committee meeting (of MCA) this evening to be headed by president Vilasrao Deshmukh. Let's see what happens in it," the source added.

Surrounded by his wife and daughter and other kids, the Bollywood superstar said after KKR's maiden IPL triumph in Chennai, "I want to apologise to the kids for my misbehaviour at MCA. I apologise to all who saw me differently. I shouldn't have behaved in that manner. But today my team has won, so I guess, all you fans should forgive me. We have won at last."

Earlier, the "unanimous" decision to ban Khan was taken at the MCA Managing Committee meeting convened on May 18 urgently to discuss action on the actor who was involved in a skirmish with the security and officials of the association after KKR's victory over Mumbai Indians here on May 16.

"We have handed a five-year ban on him and it was a unanimous decision. It applies to any match whether domestic or international at the Wankhede," MCA chief Deshmukh had told a press conference after the decision was taken.

"If rules are violated, action will be taken. It does not depend who the individual is. It's a message to everyone whosoever he or she may be that stern action will be taken if there is any misbehaviour," he had said.

"There were a lot of MCA officials present at the time of fracas. Nothing more was needed to prove that he (Khan) misbehaved. The Assistant Commissioner of Police himself was present and he said Khan was drunk," the MCA president and Union Minister had said.

Asked if there was still a chance of the ban being reconsidered, Deshmukh had said, "There is no question of that. Khan did not make any representation to us, nor apologise. He could also have filed a police complaint but he did not do that."

Khan, however, had denied at another media conference that he had misbehaved and acted only after children, including his kids, were "manhandled" by the security staff.

In the wake of the decision to ban Khan by MCA, IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla had said that a final decision will be taken by the BCCI.

"State bodies can only recommend but a final decision has to be taken by the BCCI. When the matter comes to BCCI, the Board will decide (on the ban)," he told reporters in New Delhi soon after the decision to ban Khan was announced by MCA in Mumbai.

Anushka Sharma not sidelined in film with Shahrukh Khan?

Anushka Sharma not sidelined in film with Shahrukh Khan?
Anushka Sharma is one of those lucky actresses to make a dream debut opposite Shahrukh Khan in a film made under the banner of Yash Raj Films! Not to forget, her three-film-deal with the same banner does not happen to actresses daily either!

In a recent interview, Anushka Sharma talked about her upcoming film which stars Shahrukh Khan andKatrina Kaif, and her previous release with Ranveer Singh, Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl!

There have been rumours that Anushka is merely a supporting actress in Yash Chopra’s next and Katrina Kaif is the leading lady, since Anushka was not a part of the London schedule of the film! Talking about the same, she said what matters to her is that she is a part of Yash Chopra’s film! She also confirmed that she will be a part of all the remaining schedules.

Anushka Sharma also talked about her previous release Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl! While the film could not recreate the magic that Band Baaja Baaraat did, the cute and hot actress revealed that it made more profit than BBB! Adding that maybe after the success of BBB, people had set their expectations too high!

Anushka Sharma surely believes in some straight talk!

Salman and Shahrukh Khan at Karan Johar’s Birthday Bash?

A lot can happen over coffee and a lot is expected to happen at Karan Johar’s upcoming birthday bash with or without coffee. The producer-director will turn 40 and is rumoured to throw a lavish birthday gala naming ‘Naughty At 40’. Everyone is expected to be there and raise a toast to him. But there are two people whose presences have the potential to set off fireworks provided they come to the party. We are talking about Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan who are frenemies but are good friends with Karan. So, everyone is anticipating a Khan Vs Khan collision at this bash.
Karan Johar
Karan Johar
Now, Karan is busy detailing his party. He is taking care of the decorations, activities and also the guest list which is right now the object of fascination for many. Whether or not it consists of the names of both the Khans is something everyone wants to know. Karan may not be bumchums with Salman the way he is with Shahrukh but he has a cordial relation with the bratty star. This makes him eligible for an invite while Shahrukh doesn’t even need one. So, everyone is eager to know how they will attend the party without bumping into each other.
But we think this is no big deal for the Khans as they have become a pro at avoiding each other at dos. They time their entry and exit so well that never ever did these two people come face to face post their infamous spat at Katrina Kaif’s birthday. But again if their best laid out plans to avoid each other goes bust and they do end up colliding head-on, will Karan Johar swish his wand and do his magic ‘patch up in party’ spell on them? You see, it worked for many so why not on Shahrukh and Salman? Hell, this is going to be a very entertaining party!
Oh, before we forget, others who are likely to make it to the guest list are Hrithik Roshan, Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Ekta Kapoor, Aditya Chopra, Ayan Mukerji, Tarun Mansukhani and Shakun Batra. Lest they feel sidelined we thought we will list out their names too. So stay tuned to know some garam but definitely not naram khabar regarding this party!

Shahrukh Khan and Kajol to revive their onscreen romance!

Shahrukh Khan and Kajol to revive their onscreen romance!
Shahrukh Khan may be happily teaming up with younger actresses, but none can match the chemistry that Kajol sparks with him onscreen.

The Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge couple was last seen together in 2010 in Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan and we’re sure the fans of both the actors are itching to see them romance on screen again! Smile fellows, for Karan Johar is reported to be thinking of making one more film with two of his most favourite stars ever.

The filmmaker is presently busy with his next film Student Of The Year and is therefore not letting himself be digressed by the thoughts of another project, but we hear he has already decided upon his next film after Student of the Year.

It would be an all-out romantic film with Shahrukh Khan and Kajol in leading roles. The film won’t roll before 2013 as Shahrukh is busy with a Yashraj Film withKatrina Kaif and will move on to Farah Khan’s Happy New Year after that.

On the other hand, Kajol has been turning heads lately with her very fashionable outings. From a doting mom fulfilling her motherly duties towards her son Yug and neglecting her style, Kajol has emerged as a stunner to be reckoned with. The lady is in a gorgeous shape and looking prettier than she has since a whole year.

High time Karan Johar roped her in for the love story with Shahrukh Khan.

Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan should talk about rape, sexual abuse: Taslima Nasreen
Aamir Khan’s TV show Satyamev Jayate has sort of rattled a nation out of slumber. The show, telecast on Sunday, has got rave reviews. Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen salutes Aamir for this endeavour, but says that other superstars from Bollywood, namely Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan should now take the initiative to talk about rape and sexual abuse of women.

“Dear Salman Khan, please talk about rape, domestic violence and dowry murder on TV tomorrow. Ppl should know about these problems,” Taslima Nasreen wrote on her Twitter page.

“Dear Shahrukh Khan, pl talk about sexual abuse & sexual slavery on TV. Ppl shd know about these problems. We talk, but we're not film stars,” she added.

Taslima Nasreen underscored the fact that film stars do end up bringing a lot of attention to the issues.

“From now on film stars should talk about social problems on TV. Everybody will listen to them. Ppl don't listen to human rights activists. Feminists have been talking about female foeticide and it's dangerous effects for decades. Ppl have learned about it today from star plus,” she wrote and saluted Aamir Khan for creating awareness about female foeticide on the very first episode of Satyamev Jayate.

“I salute Aamir Khan for being so courageous and for raising people's consciousness. #gendercide,” Taslima Nasreen wrote.
