Keralite beauty Asin Thottumkal has hit a hat-trick. Asin, who made her debut opposite Aamir Khan, followed it with two films with Salman Khan, has now bagged a meaty role with Shahrukh Khan in a movie. The film will be an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s semi- autobiographical book ‘2 States’.
It is heard that Asin was the first to be on the wish list of producer Sajid Nadiawala and director Vishal Bhardwaj to play the role of a South Indian girl who falls for a Punjabi boy to be played by King Khan.
What amazes us even more that the South-Indian star has also landed a plum project in Nadiawala’s production ‘Housefull 2’. Though, an official confirmation is yet to be given, it is speculated that she has already given her nod for the project.
Meanwhile, what we wonder that how her ‘Ready’ co-star Salman Khan takes the news of her bagging a role opposite his foe Shahrukh. As we all know that Salman is said to be extra-protective of his female co-stars, the news of Asin with Shahrukh is of course not going to please him much!
