SRK rocks London along with Akon

The Badshah of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan recently spread his magic over London at a glittering event organised by Hero Moto Corp. Held at the O2 arena, the show was for launching the company’s new brand identity, reported the website Indiaglitz.

The unveiling ceremony, which was reportedly attended by nearly four thousand people, was followed by smashing performance by Shahrukh, who invited on stage international pop singer Akon and former tennis player Boris Becker to shake a leg or two with him. Stars like Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, sport personalities F1 driver David Coulthard and cricketer Irfan Pathan also took the limelight at the show.

The audience was given a brief musical treat by music maestro AR Rahman. In fact Hero Moto Corp’s theme song “Hum Main Hai Hero” has been composed by the Oscar Award winning composer.

While one part of London is gripped by fear and social unrest due to riots, Bollywood stars tried to boost up the spirit at the show. Couple of days back B-town’s celebrities had tweeted about their concern over the London riots on social networking sites. There were also doubts about the event getting postponed as people were feeling unsafe even to step out; but nothing as such happened and the show took place peacefully. daily times monitor
