Salman Khan follows Aamir as second highest paid actor on TV-commercials, SRK stands third

The 'perfectionist' leads, while 'style-bhai' leaves the 'king' behind

After ruling the silver screen for over a decade, ‘pathans’ have been re-creating their supremacy on the small screens as well, even through TV-commercials.

Style-bhai Salman Khan, who recently signed a deal of Rs 7-crore for endorsing a food supplement, is positioned second in the league of the highest paid actors for advertisements with Aamir Khan being the leader.

The Dabangg Khan, who till a year ago charged a fee of Rs 3-4 crore for each endorsement, raised his fee for the food supplement deal, after hits like Wanted, Dabangg, Bodyguard. Prior to Khan, cricketer Yuvraj Singh was seen endorsing the product at half the price the actor is being paid.

Some brands which are already endorsed by Salman Khan are Mountain Dew, Wheel Washing Powder and Sangini Diamond Jewellery.

Mr ‘perfectionist’ Aamir Khan leads:

Aamir Khan known for being selective about brands he endorses, leads the list of highest paid actors. Khan, who charges between Rs 8-10 crore per endorsement has been associated with products like Tata Sky, Titan, Samsung, Parle and Etisalat. The actor has also appeared on theme based commercials like ‘atithi devo bhava’.

The perfectionist, as he is known to be, Khan has set his own conditions which he follows before signing for any product.

‘Badshah’ stands third:

While talking about the Khans of Bollywood, one definitely cannot miss out on the ‘king himself’ Shahrukh Khan! Like his peers, SRK is also known for charging a bomb for TV-advertisements. However, the once highest paid actor of Bollywood stands third when it comes to fee slabs for TV-commercials. SRK, who probably has endorsed maximum products than the other two Khans, charges a fee of Rs 5-6 crore for each endorsement.

SRK is the brand ambassador for a number of names like Tag Hueur, Pepsodent, Nerolac Paints, Sona Chandi Chyavanprash, Belmonte, Dish TV, Airtel, Nokia, Hyundai Santro, Videocon and ICICI Bank.
