Shahrukh Khan takes a dig at Ganguly

Superstar and owner of Kolkata Knight Riders Shahrukh Khan took a little dig at former skipper Sourav Ganguly and said that the team is really doing well without the services of Sourav.

SRK also added that franchise had offered Dada with a special assignment of mentoring KKR but he did not take it up. Now that Dada has replaced injured cricketer Ashish Nehra for Pune Warriors, KKR is bit shocked.

"I have been often asked this question. We would have liked Dada to play in the scheme of things we wanted," the Bollywood superstar said during a promotional event, making it clear that Ganguly didn't like what was there in the offing.

But King Khan is really happy the way his boys have played this season. “This time we wanted to start off with a clean slate. We wanted to give the reins to the coaching staff. And they have done wonderfully. The team has been doing well," Shahrukh commented.

But at the same time SRK wished Dada good luck.
