 | The olive branch extended by Shahrukh Khan to the former Kolkata Knight Riders’ skipper Sourav Ganguly has met with be cold response from the latter.
Shah Rukh Khan recently invited Sourav Ganguly to a party hosted at his home Mannat. Cricketers from Pune Warriors and Deccan Chargers were on the guest list. But an invite to Ganguly (who now plays for Pune) was particularly seen as SRK’s way of mending fences with the Kolkata batsmen who was unceremoniously dropped from KKR this year.
But guess what, Dada did not turn up for the party.
A lot of celebs from Bollywood came, like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Sonali Bendre and a good number of cricketers too. But Ganguly was nowhere in sight.
Guess Ganguly hasn’t forgotten the snub he got from Shahrukh at the time of player selection for this season of IPL. Now a snub from Dada has made the score even -- SRK: 1, Ganguly: 1.
