Shriya Saran on working with SRK
Earlier, when the news about SRK and Shriya performing at the IPL ceremony broke, the South Indian superstar said, “It's really sweet of him to perform in a language that he is not familiar with. We have been rehearsing and he's so effortlessly slipped into the performance, as if he belongs here. I am already charmed, so is the entire South India.”
Adding that performing with SRK was a dream come true, Shriya said that she would love to do a role of Madhuri in ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ with Shahrukh someday.
Chennai Super Kings wins over Kolkata Knight Riders
The energetic performances were followed by the first match of the season with Shahrukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders’ playing against Chennai Super Kings.
Shahrukh Khan said, “KKR is returning stronger, tougher and even more determined to take the IPL by storm. This year too, we will aim to mirror your expectations and win over every heart and mind in the county.”
