YRF is set to bring together Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in a film. There is word that Anushka Sharma may also be cast in the movie.
Sources reveal that the second female lead in the film is a strong character, and a few days ago it was rumored that Kajol would be acting in the film. However, now sources reveal that the second lead in the film may indeed be Anushka Sharma, as the character needs to look younger than Katrina Kaif’s.
Anushka made her dream debut in Aditya Chopra’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and things have be go-go-go from there on. She has won both acclaim from critics and the audience, finding success with one film after the other.
This ‘yet to be titled’ film will mark the first directorial project Yash Chopra has undertaken since Veer Zaara in 2004, and if things pan out for Anushka, then this will not only mark her fifth time working with the YRF banner, but also make her the first actress to be directed by both father Yash and son Aditya Chopra.
There is no confirmation from YRF or Anushka about this development. The final casting of the yet untitled film remains to be announced. Nevertheless, this beauty from Bangalore is on her way to becoming the one of the most popular heroines. |
