Shahrukh in pain due to knee injury

The latest buzz doing the rounds in tinsel ville is that the ‘Ra.One’ superhero Shahrukh Khan is not in good health these days, as his knee injury which had taken place a year ago, has resurfaced and is giving him a lot of pain.

Apparently, Shahrukh, who is quite upbeat about his forthcoming home production ‘Ra.One’ and is moving heaven and earth to make his film a hit with moviegoers, felt the pain in his knee when on the sets of the film.

The knee pain was bothering Khan so much that a doctor had to be called in on the sets itself.

Talking about the incident, a source close to the film unit, as quoted in Mumbai Mirror, said, "He has been going through a lot of discomfort for sometime. And, hence, the doctor was called in. He has a tear in the meniscus of his left knee.”

SRK needs to undergo surgery in July, says doctor
When asked about Shahrukh’s health, Dr. Ali Irani from Mumbai, who visited the actor on the sets of ‘Ra.One’, stated that the superhero is having a serious knee problem and he has to undergo a knee surgery soon in July.

The doctor said, “Yes, he does have a knee problem and he will need to undergo surgery in July.”

It’s learnt that in the past, SRK’s IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders’ physiotherapist, Andrew Lepius had treated him for his knee injury.
