Aamir Khan's joke on SRK lands 'Delhi Belly' in trouble

Looks like barbs and pot-shots between the Khans of Bollywood aren’t going to see an end anytime soon, at least not in the coming days.

After Salman Khan taking a dig at his frenemies Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan in his home-production ‘Chillar Party’, it's Aamir Khan, who has walked on the same path. However, unlike Salman, little did the star know that his gag would land him in a big mess.

Apparently, the joke made on the star hasn’t gone down well with a leading automobile brand, which is now planning to take the producers to court.

In the film, Imran Khan’s character Tashi gets a red car by his would-be in-laws. On seeing the car, which strongly resembles like a Santro, one of his friend comments, “When a donkey mates an auto rickshaw, you get a car like this.”

If sources are to be believed, the joke was pre-planned and was intended to take a direct dig at arch-rival Shahrukh Khan., who happens to be the brand ambassador of the automobile company.

Though, the car was modified and the branding was removed in the film sequence, it was quite evident from the picture that which brand was it. And now, the automobile brand is planning to issue a legal notice to the film’s production house, director and producer to remove the scene.

When confronted, other sources from the unit maintained that it was just a funny situation in the movie, that wasn’t meant to target any particular brand.
