Abbas Mastan, the director of the upcoming film, Players has expressed his concerns over releasing his film at the same time as Farhan Akhtar’s Don 2, so much so Abhishek Bachchan is getting involved and thinking of alternative release dates.
However, this may not be the case with the Hollywood film, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol which stars Tom Cruise and Bollywood’s very own actor Anil Kapoor. In fact, Mission Impossible was set to release 16 December, but has now been rescheduled to release on 23 December.
So does this mean, this Christmas we’ll see Anil Kapoor competing with Shahrukh Khan? Anil expresses, ‘I cannot take on SRK. It is Tom Cruise who is taking him on. I have an interesting role in the movie, and of course, I will perhaps benefit from the huge publicity that will surround the film here. But don't even suggest that I am taking on SRK. He's huge.’
Although we admire Anil Kapoor’s modesty, no one can take away the fact that he still continues to be one of India’s finest actors.
