Madhuri joins Shahrukh at Madame Tussauds on Mar 7

Mumbai: Madhuri Dixit, the diva with a dazzling smile, will be the latest addition to the galaxy of stars whose wax statues grace the Madame Tussauds.

The much-awaited wax statue of the Bollywood superstar will be unveiled at London's Madame Tussauds on March 7.

Excited on the development Madhuri tweeted: "Madame Tussauds unveiling on March 7, 2012. See you then."

She is back in Mumbai to play a new innings in Bollywood.

The 44-year-old is the latest Indian film star to join the A-list line up at the Madame Tussauds wax museum, which also houses statues of Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.

According to reports, a team of sculptors and experts in hair, makeup and wardrobe took four months to carve the Pound 150,000 statue.

Madhuri has been the queen of hearts in Bollywood giving stellar performances in films like Tezaab, Ram Lakhan, Sajan, Beta, Dil, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Dil Toh Pagal Hai and Devdas.

She left Bollywood for Denver, US, in 2002 when she married US-based doctor Shriram Madhav Nene. Now the mother of two sons, Madhuri is currently working on her official website and plans to launch it soon.

After marriage, her only release was Aaja Nachle, but it didn't do well at the box office, however, the dancing queen struck the right chord with her fans when she appeared on the small screen as the judge of dance reality show Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa 5
