It's a war that's waging like never before between the two famous rival Khans of Bollywood - Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
In the battle of one-upmanship in Bollywood, Salman Khan is leaving no stone unturned and no occasion go by without taking a dig at Shah Rukh Khan.
At industrialist Mukesh Ambani's bash to honour cricketer Sachin Tendulkar on his 100th century, Salman Khan congratulated the little master in his own 'Dabangg' style - not mincing words.
Salman Khan said: "Sachin ka record todna mushkil hi nahi namumkin hai. Aur yeh Don nahi main bol raha hu" (a dialogue from SRK's 'Don' movies).
He went on to clarify that his dad Salim Khan had written the dialogues for the original 'Don' starring Amitabh Bachchan and so he had the right to say the dialouges as his father is still the rightful owner of the written verse. He also praised Amitabh Bachchan for his impressive work in the original movie.
Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar made the remake of the movie 'Don' with Salman's rival Shah Rukh Khan but the movie didn't fare well at the box office. Farhan again took a shot with 'Don 2' but this time too the movie didn't pick up rave reviews despite SRK's second try.
Salman is aware of the dismal performance of Shah Rukh starrer 'Don' went on to praise the original movie.
It is well known in the industry that Salman and Shah Rukh don't see eye to eye and never misses an opportunity to poke fun at each other.
