Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in Farah Khan’s next

In Bollywood, one moment you are friends and the other moment you are foes; and the very next moment you are friends again! After Shahrukh Khan and Shirish Kunder made peace over the slapgate incident that happened between them, Farah Khan approached Shahrukh Khan and cast him as the lead for her upcoming movie!

The big question that remained unanswered was who’ll play the female lead opposite Shahrukh Khan? And the latest chirp suggests that it is none other than Anushka Sharma! Farah Khan first thought of casting Kareena Kapoor or Katrina Kaif for this role, however, at last, Anushka Sharma was finalized!

Well, this does not come as a surprise, to be fair! Anushka Sharma has worked with SRK in the past in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and the two bonded well! Plus, Farah Khan too loved Anushka’s dance moves in the film; and there’s nothing more a choreographer-cum-director would ask for!

Anushka Sharma is really happy to have bagged this role and is making sure she manages her dates properly, considering the fact that she also has to shoot for Rajkumar Hirani’s next Peekay, which stars Aamir Khan!

In the meantime, we wonder what Farah will name her movie. Rab Ne Fir Bana Di Jodi, maybe?
