Did Shahrukh Khan bow too low in front of Hugh Jackman?

Shahrukh Khan was all wit and charm while hobnobbing with the Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman on the closing day of FICCI Frames in Mumbai last week. But one gesture by the superstar has become a subject of talk among his fans.

While cracking funny oneliners with Jackman and even joking about doing a film together, Shahrukh did something that surprised a lot of people. Upon receiving an award from Jackman, Shahrukh went down on his knees and bent so low that it seemed he would prostrate in front of the Aussie star.

Of course, it was all done in sporting spirit and Jackman himself lifted SRK up and hugged him, but a burning question still remains among SRK’s fans.

Did SRK, who arguably boasts of a greater fan following than Tom Cruise, need to bow so low?
