Shah Rukh Khan has announced that, despite reports to the contrary in the media, he is unsure whether Shakira will be making a video for his Indian cricket team.
The Colombian singer is said to be appearing in a promotional music video for Khan's Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders.
The actor told the Times of India: "We have a team of people working around the marketing for KKR. But I really don't know if Shakira is going to dance for KKR. It is wonderful if she is going to... but I really don't know yet."
The promotional song for Khan's Kolkata-based team is reportedly composed by Hindi film composer duo Salim-Sulaiman.
Shakira had earlier performed a Bollywood-inspired version of 'Hips Don't Lie' at an awards show in New York, directed by Om Shanti Om filmmaker Farah Khan.
