Recently Shahrukh Khan was awarded Best Actor award at FilmFare awards for his role in the movie My Name is Khan beating Salman Khan for Dabangg. Now SRK has won Worst Actor award for the same at 3rd Golden Kela Awards. Incidentally My Name is Khan also won worst film of the year at the award function. Sonam Kapoor got the Worst actress award for movie Aisha which flopped at the box office.
Another big flop of bollywood Action Replay starring Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai baged most original story at 3rd Golden Kela award function.
The awards went to both highly successful as well as unsuccessful movies in bollywood. Another surprise was award for worst supporting actress which went to Tanu Weds Manu actress Kangana Ranaut. She was awarded for her role in Kites. She had highest chances of winning the awards in the category as four out of five total nomination were from her movies like No Problem, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and Kites.
Arjun Rampal won Worst supporting actor for his role in Housefull. The movie Guzaarish received Black Award for emotional blackmail. Bas Kijiye Bahut Ho Gaya Award was given to Ram Gopal Verma. The award is considered parallel to Life Time Achievement award.
The worst debut actor and actress were bagged by Aditya Narayan for movie Shaapit and Pakhi Tyrewala for Jhootha Hi Sahi. Vivek Oberoi got Worst sequence award for Prince and Sukhwinder Singh was awarded Sonu Nigam award for Kooch Kariye song.
