Juhi Chawla, the glamour star of yesteryears, intends to develop a cricket stadium by teaming up with Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan. Juhi's husband Jai Mehta is also interested in the project. The existing Duleep School of Cricket Ground in Porbandar is proposed to be developed into a full fledged stadium. The reason behind choosing Porbandar is that Jai's ancestors are from there.
Juhi, who is the co-owner of the IPL Cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders, is keen on the development project as she wants the training camps for KKR team to be held there. The proposed stadium would be christened Nanji Kalidas Mehta Stadium, as a tribute to Jai's grandfather.
