For the film’s title song, Imran has apparently tried to emulate the super Khans of Bollywood. In the song, Imran is in search of a bride and he imitates the dance steps of the three superstars Shahrukh, Aamir and Salman.
Title song ‘Matrimonial Ki Aankhen’ shot in just 3 days
The title song ‘Matrimonial Ki Aankhen’ from Yash Raj Films’ 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' has been composed by Sohail Sen and it will see Imran performing the dance moves of the three Khans’ from their popular film songs.
Apparently, Imran has copied the moves from Aamir’s ‘Ghulam’ and ‘Rang De Basanti’, Salman’s ‘Dabangg’ and SRK’s ‘Chhaiyan Chhaiyan’.
Interestingly, it’s learnt that the ‘Matrimonial Ki Aankhen’ song was apparently shot in Mumbai, New Delhi and Dehradun in just three days.
Speaking about Aamir’s song, Imran stated, “I saw Ghulam when I was 14. I remember the song more than the movie. It was one of those rare times when a hero did his own playback. Mamu did a spectacular job with the lip sync. RDB is another milestone, as for the first time, I felt a film was speaking for the ‘intelligent’ youth of our country.”
While talking about Salman’s dance style, the young actor said that the steps were easy to follow and the moves did make him connect with the actor.
Imran does his maamu’s steps first
In the title song of 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, Imran first does his uncle’s dance moves from ‘Ghulam’ and ‘Rang De Basanti’ and then follows it up with Salman’s famous ‘Dabangg’ steps.
And then finally, Imran does the train song from SRK's ‘Chaiya Chaiyaa’.
Speaking about SRK’s song, Imran stated, “Chaiyya Chaiyya… is an iconic song in terms of composition, choreography, the way it’s been filmed, sung (Sukhvinder Singh) and performed by Shah Rukh and Malaika (Arora Khan). Any Bollywood movie buff recalls it vividly.”
