Kat edits Don 2

MUMBAI: Katrina Kaif has always had a long-standing desire of contributing in some way to a film’s post-production. Her wish has been fulfiled, thanks to Farhan Akhtar. Kat and Akhtar became friends while filming for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. She was particularly impressed by Akhtar’s multiple talents: he is an actor, he has already directed a few films, and he can sing. Kat, too, wanted to try her hand at something other than acting; Akhtar helped fulfil that wish.

While editing Shahrukh Khan’s next film Don 2, which Akhtar has directed, he let Kat edit a small portion. Kat did well and edited the portion and was ‘thrilled’ after having done so. — Agencies
