The star war is common in Indian cinema. That is because of the fan following and in some cases the economic conditions. In case three superstar’s films release it is a drain for the middle class audience.

Sensing such drain on the pocket of the audience some of the stars avoid the box office battle. The recent example to this backing out technique related to Abhisekh Bachchan and Sharukh Khan.

Sharukh Khan’s ‘Don-2’ is slated for release around Christmas this year. Around this time is Abhisekh Bachchan’s ‘Players’ a remake of ‘Italian Job’ cinema was announced.

Quietly Abhisekh Bachchan advised the producers not to come against Shahrukh Khan ‘Don-2’. This is also because of extra interest what Abhisekh Bachchan has on his film ‘Players’. It is a very expensive film and injury in the box office is not tolerated. Secondly already a few Hindi and English films are lined up for the Christmas festivities. Where the money in the masses to spend on all the films is another question.

It is the right thinking from the right man for not being left out from the box office. Abbas Mustan has directed ‘Players’. Nitin Mukesh, Aftab Shivadasani, Sikander Kher, Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu are also in the cast with Abhisekh Bachchan leading the cast.
