Will Salman make friends with Shahrukh now?

Just a few months after a tiff with director Abhinav Kashyap, Arbaaz Khan waves the white flag, unlike brother Sallu, who seems to find it impossible to forgive and forget

Arbaaz Khan, who was furious with his Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap for walking out of the sequel at the last moment, seems to have eaten humble pie. These two had a much-publicised and very public fallout and Arbaaz decided to take over the reins of the new, planned film. It seemed like things wouldn’t get sorted for a long time, no matter how many people tried to get that to happen. But everyone present at Sunil Bohra’s party a couple of days ago was taken by surprise when the Arbaaz and Abhinav greeted each other cordially and went on to have a long and animated conversation. It was as if nothing had ever happened! Well, we hear that Arbaaz doesn’t believe in holding grudges and harbouring ill-will for too long. He said to a newspaper recently that even though he doesn’t remain best friends with some people, he is always cordial when he bumps into them.

Guess brother Salman needs to learn a lot from his chhota bhai. Salman is known to take a panga with even his close friends and once someone enters his ‘enemy’ category, he finds it impossible to forgive and move on. His list of enemies is ever-growing and includes John Abraham, Vivek Oberoi, Shahid Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan and, most recently, Sanjay Dutt. Patch ups in Sallu’s life are rare and they might happen only if the opposite party has pleaded guilty. Even then, there is no guarantee. Some like Himesh Reshammiya and Kangna Ranaut have been lucky to be able patch up with the mercurial star. Let’s hope that Sallu asks his bro for some advice on how to maintain cordial relationships with the people he has had a fallout with. It could help him win back a lot of his estranged friends! But then, we would have nothing to talk about!
