Shahrukh Khan’s dream house ‘Mannat’ got clearance from BMC

Mumbai: Bollywood’s superstar Shahrukh Khan showed a sign of relief after his dream house ‘Manat’ has finally got a clean sweep from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

It was earlier said that SRK violated rules while constructing his house and hence the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) had served a notice asking Shahrukh to explain violations committed.

A notice was served to Shahrukh by MCZMA on March 12, 2009 seeking all the permission regarding the construction of Mannat. As SRK did not submit any of the details, it was alleged that actor violated norms of CRZ (coastal regulation zone) in the construction of his bungalow.

But as per the latest reports, as Shahrukh had bought the bungalow and an adjacent vacant plot some years back, Mannat has been considered as an old building and declared as heritage
