Best buddies turned sworn enemies turned friends again, Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan, are now said to be going several steps ahead to work together in the film Happy New Year.
“Yes, Shah Rukh and Farah have hugged and made up. The decision was made recently and there will soon be an official announcement,” confirms our well-placed source, adding, “Both SRK and Farah are extremely excited as they have earlier worked together in blockbusters like Main Hoon Naa and Om Shanti Om.”
After the SRK-Shirish Kunder “slapfest” at Sanjay Dutt’s party and the subsequent patch-up, it seemed like it was just a lame attempt to clear the bad publicity. However, this unexpected move has shocked even those close to the two Khans.
“When the dust settled down on the Shirish episode, Shah Rukh and Farah had a heart-to-heart,” the source adds, “And SRK committed to doing Farah’s film without blinking an eye lid. Farah has the script ready and will soon finalise on the logistics, other cast members and shooting schedules etc.”
On being contacted, both Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan were unavailable for comment. Hopefully, they will break the code of silence soon and let us all in on the juicy details. Is this going to be a Happy New Year or not?
