Shahrukh Khan inspired by Alfred Hitchcock

Shahrukh Khan who became the most lovable villain with his film Darr explains why he kept his dream project’s name Ra. One which is actually the villain’s name in the film. Shahrukh says, "I have always felt this - and even Alfred Hitchcock said that in a movie, which has a larger than life hero, the villain's role should be very strong."

Explaining through old examples Shahrukh also said everyone remembers Gabbar Singh from ‘Sholay’ and Mogambo from Mr. India because both of them made great impact on audience and a villain is equally responsible for the success of film as much as a hero is.
In “Ra. One” Sharukh’s character is known as G.One and the name of the film is kept on Arjun Rampal’s character “Ra. One” which technically means Random Access Version One. Sharukh also believes that he resembles with mythological evil character Raavan.
