Undi the Kandy' keeps SRK quizzing!

Shah Rukh Khan is quite thrilled about his forthcoming venture ‘Always Kabhi Kabhi’ under his home production, which is a youth film. The reigning superstar although can’t relate with certain aspects of the film but has welcomed all the innovations with open arms. For instance, SRK kept quizzing about 'Undi the Kandy' which he felt was a cheap dialogue until his director friend Roshan Abbas put an end to his wild thoughts by explaining him the meaning.

Roshan elaborates, “SRK was quite taken aback initially with the dialogue. He perceived 'Undi the Kandy' to be cheap South Indian phrase which actually means ‘understand the situation’ and is a North Indian lingo.”

“Considering that he is very particular about the language in his films, he was really relieved as I gave him an assurance. He also needed a word on whether I will be able to convey the meaning to the audience,” he adds.

To work with someone like SRK who has always taken care of the sentiments of his fans, it is really a big thing to convince him and you could do it Mr. Abaas. Now it remains to see, how far you will be able to convince the audience as well.
