Shahrukh Khan throws an impromptu party for his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders after KKR defeated Rajasthan Royals on Sunday at Eden Gardens. Shahru

Shah Rukh Khan's team Kolkata Knight Riders has been consistently giving a poor performance at the previous seasons' IPL.

It's only this season that the team is back in full form. And of course, SRK is happier. No wonder's then, he had plans set to make his team's recent win against Rajashthan Royals special in every way.

After the recent KKR-RR match in Kolkata, Khan threw a bash for his team for performing brilliantly. Incidentally, singer Kunal Ganjawalla was in Kolkata too and was invited to be part of the celebrations.

A source present at the bash revealed, "Kunal was in Kolkata when SRK threw the party and he invited him. But little did Kunal know that a surprise awaits him. Kunal's song Bheege Hoth Tere is one of his most popular numbers and as soon as he entered the party, SRK greeted him by singing the song himself."

SRK surprised everyone around but his act ensured that his team and all others present have a gala time. The source said, "SRK is not a great singer. But when he is around his people, he doesn't care. He sung almost the entire song and also got his team members to join him. It was a treat for KKR and also for Kunal. Having SRK croon one of the songs he has sung thrilled him."
