He gave the industry some of the biggest blockbusters and ‘Sholay’ being one of the finest examples of them. Director-producer Ramesh Sippy is expected to come back to direction, according to the latest buzz in circles.
A popular face at public events and parties, Sippy’s last directorial had been in 1995 - ‘Zamana Deewana’ starring Shahrukh Khan and Raveena Tandon. The noted filmmaker told to sources that these days he is considering to take up direction again. “Now I think it's important that I take a step in that direction again and I'll try that something like this happens. We are working on a script; when it completes, I'll announce the film formally. So direction will happen soon,” shared Sippy.
Currently Sippy’s production ‘Dum Maaro Dum’, directed by son Rohan Sippy, is slated to release on 22 April.
Wow that’s a good news for us movie buffs! We are waiting for you sir….
