India has often attracted foreign filmmakers to embark upon a journey on celluloid and recreate life of eminent personalities on screen. Oscar nominated filmmaker Bruce Beresford, who is currently in India, is planning to make a film on former Indian prime minister Indira Gandhi, Zee News reports.
According to a leading daily, the filmmaker attended a special party organised in his honour by renowned dentist Dr Pradhan.
Beresford’s team used sophisticated technology to superimpose faces of Bollywood and Hollywood actors on to the characters in the film to get a better understanding of who would best suit the roles.
And one man from B-Town who featured in the list was Shahrukh Khan.
SRK as Pandit Nehru? It looks a safe bet. What say? daily times monitor
