'Ra. One' to fold up under 120 crores

'Ra. One had near to nil competition in it's second week with 'Loot' and 'Miley Naa Miley Hum' being the only new release. However it couldn't really capitalise on an open run and fell massively to record around 15 crores in it's second week. While this brought the overall collections to 114 crores mark, there won't be much added hereafter since 'Rockstar' has opened really huge at the box office. With number of shows for 'Ra. One' seeing considerable reduction as well, it is now pretty much breathing it's last and won't add more than 4-5 crores from this point on.

This also means that the Shahrukh Khan starrer may now fold up just under the 120 crores milestone set by 'Ready'. Going by the massive expectations that the film came with, this is hardly the kind of total that team 'Ra. One' would have been aiming for. In fact some even believed that this total would be garnered in its extended 9 day week itself. However as things stand today, this is exactly where the film stands.

However in the bigger scheme of things where records have to be mentioned, this is now Shahrukh's first 100 crore affair and Kareena's fourth (after '3 Idiots', 'Golmaal 3' and 'Bodyguard'). Also the film is all set to be Bollywood's fifth highest money spinner ever after '3 Idiots', 'Dabangg', 'Bodyguard' and 'Ready'.

Meanwhile 'Loot' as well as 'Miley Naa Miley Hum' have turned out to be mega downers. Multi starrer 'Loot' has now folded up around 3 crores mark, hence fetching Govinda yet another commercial failure. A dated film, it anyways didn't stand much chance at the box office but given the fact that it was optimally promoted, the losses are all the more visible.

As for 'Miley Naa Miley Hum', it is one of the biggest disasters for a debutant with Chirag Paswan hardly seeing much going his way. Hovering around the 1 crore mark; it is an epic disaster and has turned out to be 'come today forgotten the same day' affair. Also, this is the lowest grosser ever for Kangna Ranaut ever since she made her debut with 'Gangster
